Lending a Helping Hand: ICT Help Desk is Doing Their Part
Welcome back for another beautiful, and unusually warm, semester at NMSU. Again, to help with the frenzy associated with the start of each new semester, the ICT Help Desk will have extended hours as well as remote locations set up to meet all the faculty, staff, and student computing and NMSU account needs.
For your convenience the ICT Help Desk will have remote locations set up in the lobbies of Garcia Hall and Educational Services. The main ICT Help Desk will also have extended hours. Please see below for specific details.
If you are new to NMSU, all you need to do is activate your account online to obtain yur password, pin, and username. However, if you are a returning student who has been away or can not remember your access information you will need to visit the ICT Help Desk. Although some Help Desk staff hint that gifts are welcome and can be helpful in getting you through the line quickly, Computer Specialist Trent Tidwell assures that all you need is a picture ID and yourself! Remember, no one but the student themselves can change and access accounts, so don’t plan on sending your mom, aunt, coach or friend in your stead. Sorry, and welcome (back) to college!
