The Center for Academic Success (CAS) at New Mexico State University is a centralized, university-wide academic support service for students from all disciplines. The CAS offers programs such as FREE Tutoring, Learning Skills Workshops, and Standardized Test Preparation (GRE, NMTA, GMAT, etc.) here at New Mexico State University. The most recent addition to the list of services provided is the newly remodeled Computer Lab. |

NMSU is planning the transition to the 2007 Microsoft Office applications on all NMSU campuses. Communication between all affected parties has been initiated to help determine the necessary steps. This process will help to keep our systems up to date and work towards a unified software platform at NMSU. |

Technology is a powerful force that impacts the way we live our lives. Not only has technology impacted our lifestyles, but it has also impacted our culture. We are currently seeing what seems to be a shift in the direction of our economy. As technology progresses and we become a more “wired” society, a need is growing. This need is something that has been growing as a result of synergy and the increase in the interdisciplinary approaches that will supply the need of this growing technology driven economy. |
